How to apply for your child

If you wish for your child to attend St Paul's Respite Service, there is important information that we will need you to provide and confirm. All applications must include up to date multi-disciplinary reports with the following information:

  • Diagnosis of Autism (ASD) based on ICD-10 or DSM-V diagnostic criteria
  • Perinatal, developmental and medical history
  • Level of intellectual or cognitive functioning
  • Level of adaptive behaviour functioning
  • Level of communication and language development
  • Live in the catchment area (Dublin Dublin North West, Dublin North Central and Dublin North County).

Once an application is made to the service, a child’s name will be placed on a waiting list. Parents will be notified when it is time to meet the child and family to consider if St Paul's CFCC can meet their needs.

Applications for St Paul's Special School need to be submitted directly to St Paul’s Special School.
